The Green Fan
The Green Fan is an Iron Mountain initiative for sites based in their facility. It is a symbol of the effort that has been made to provide a completely carbon neutral datacenter.
Datecanter Safety
The datacenter is surrounded by steel fencing and equipped with VESDA fire detection, an Argon fire extinguisher system, CCTV and biometric access control. The site is monitored and protected 24/7 by professional security guards.
Environmentally Friendly and Energy Efficient
With the help of TNO, Iron Mountain has reduced energy consumption by more than 50 percent. Iron Mountain operates on a climate-neutral basis and cooperates with the Climate Neutral Group, to compensate for non-sustainable energy consumption at Iron Mountain.
Autonomous Power Supply
Iron Mountain has a scalable energy capacity of 20 Megawatts, with a plan to grow to 40 Megawatts. Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS), available independent A+B distribution feeds, and N+1 emergency power generators guarantee seamless power in the event of any incident.
